An Introduction to Financial Abuse and Coercive Control

An Introduction to Financial Abuse and Coercive Control
3 March 2021

On Wednesday 10th March at 5pm, our panel of experts will discuss how to help you identify financial abuse and coercive control within families, understand the impact it can have on victims and advise on the legal remedies that are available.

Our panel includes Elizabeth Darlington, the Head of the Family: Finance and Property Group at Parklane Plowden Chambers, Sarah Young, Director at Ridley and Hall Solicitors, and Stephanie Orr, Policy Maker at Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA).

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it. The charity works day in, day out to ensure that women are supported not only to survive, but also to thrive.
