About

Adam is a specialist chancery and commercial practitioner. He regularly accepts instructions to act on behalf of individuals, corporations and charities in general commercial matters at every level. He has a busy court practice and often appears in the High Court and regional County Courts.

Adam has an equally busy chancery practice, which encompasses all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency, real property, trust law and partnership disputes.

Outside of court, Adam is frequently instructed to advise on all matters falling within his specialism, draft proceedings and pen interlocutory applications. He prides himself on turning around papers within a timely manner and making himself available to discuss, and advise on, live files at each stage of proceedings.

Prior to joining Chambers, Adam was an Associate Lecturer at the University of Salford. He frequently hosts lectures and in-house training seminars.

Adam is an accredited mediator.

Adam strives to complete paperwork within 14 days of receiving instructions. He also accepts “urgent” instructions on a case-by-case basis and is content to deliver advice in either written or oral form, as required.

Recent talks include “Disclosure: how to get what you need, when you need it”, which included a detailed overview of the Norwich Pharmacal jurisdiciton.

Adam welcomes instructions in all matters pertaining to residential and commercial property and agricultural holdings. He is frequently engaged to deal with boundary disputes, possession proceedings and disrepair claims.
