Education
Parklane Plowden offers specialist advice and representation in Education Law. Our experienced team of barristers regularly appear in First Tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs & Disability) and Upper Tier Tribunals acting on such cases as:
- Special Educational Needs
- Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Appeals (e.g. appeals against refusals to assess, ceasing to maintain and regarding EHCP content including as to need and provision)
- Pupil Admissions / Exclusions (including challenges to Governing Body and Independent Review Panel decisions)
- Professional Disciplinary matters (including those which involve Employment Law issues)
- Disability discrimination in an Education setting (both in the SEND Tribunal and the County Court)
