Howard Elgot appears in high-value birth injury High Court claim

Clinical negligence specialist, Howard Elgot, appeared in a Breach and Duty and Causation Split Trial last week titled HR v Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The case took place over 3 days in London’s High Court, before Mr Justice Cotter.

In the case, an allegation had been made that an obstetrician failed to give appropriate advice after being told that the mother was worried about reduced fetal movements. The value of the matter is between £15 million and £20 million.
