About

Isabella commenced her specialist civil law pupillage in April 2024 under the supervision of Claire Millns and began her second six in October 2024 under the supervision of Amy Rumble.

Throughout her first six Isabella gained exposure to a large variety of employment hearings, from judicial mediations to equal pay proceedings. She now accepts instructions in a range of employment and civil matters and is keen to develop a busy court and paperwork practice.

Prior to starting pupillage, Isabella achieved first-class honours at the University of York in Law and was awarded the Citizenship Award for her role as Mistress of the Moots of the Mooting and Bar Society. Whilst at University Isabella co-launched the ‘first-gen barristers’ programme for students from underrepresented backgrounds, allowing them to access one-to-one careers advice, and interviewed Lady Hale on the topic of judicial diversity.

Isabella was awarded the HHJ Paul Clark Scholarship and Blackstone Entrance Exhibition Award by Middle Temple, and the Excellence and Career Commitment Scholarships by BPP. She went on to achieve a Distinction in her BTC LLM.
