James Kapadia commenced his specialist civil law pupillage in October 2023 under the supervision of Tom Nossiter. James accepted tenancy in October 2024.
He graduated with first-class honours from LSE in 2020 and was awarded an academic scholarship to attend City University, where he completed his BVS in 2021. Whilst at university, James represented clients in tribunals through the Free Representation Unit and won the Eversheds mooting competition.
James is commencing pupillage after having worked as a Research Assistant at the Law Commission of England and Wales on reform to Part II of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. James has also appeared in over 200 hearings as a county court advocate for LPC Law. Typical matters that he acted in included infant settlements, road traffic accidents, credit hire, and landlord and tenant disputes.
