Lydia joined Parklane Plowden Chambers in October 2024 as a civil pupil under the supervision of Hylton Armstrong.
Lydia graduated from the University of Bristol for her LLB (Upper Second-Class Honours) and her LLM (Merit). Lydia served as Chair of Debate at the University of Bristol Law Club. She was awarded the Lincoln’s Inn Kennedy Scholarship.
During university, Lydia represented several clients at the University of Bristol Law Clinic. She successfully appeared in the Social Entitlement Tribunal, relieving a client of £25,000 worth of fees. At the University of Law, Lydia volunteered at the Employment Tribunal Support Service.
Lydia won the University of Bristol Bar Society Mooting competition and the University of Bristol Law Club Debating competition. She was a Regional Finalist at the BPP Advocate of the Year competition.
Prior to pupillage, Lydia worked as an Administrative Assistant at Capstone Solicitors. She was also a Trade Union Representative for the Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union, representing members in London Central Employment Tribunal and Bristol Employment Tribunal.
