Megan is a very capable junior and accepts instructions on behalf of claimants and defendants. She will advise on both liability and quantum and undertake court work including associated inquests at an early stage.
A large part of Megan’s pupillage focused on clinical negligence work. This, along with her catastrophic injury experience, means she is comfortable with a range of medical issues. Her experience includes: orthopaedic surgery, obstetrics, diabetes and emergency medicine claims. She also has experience in mediation and regularly advises on and attends infant approval hearings.
Megan accepts instructions for inquests in a variety of fields, but her primary interest is healthcare related deaths as this compliments her clinical negligence practice well. She has acted for families at inquests and is currently a member of AvMA.
During pupillage, Megan also gained experience of drafting high value schedules of loss with multiple dependency claims.
