Oliver completed a specialist civil law pupillage under the supervision of Hylton Armstrong and Bronia Hartley. He became a tenant in October 2023.

Prior to pupillage Oliver obtained a First-Class honours in Law and an Outstanding on the BPTC. He worked as an in-house advocate at a specialist personal injury firm. He appeared in a range of applications, infant approvals, and small claims trials. Oliver then became a paralegal in a top-rated national law firm in the clinical negligence department. Oliver assisted in matters from pre-action to conclusion including delayed diagnosis, birth injury, brain injury and spinal injury cases.

Oliver worked as a dental negligence paralegal guiding clients through the initial stages of their dental negligence claim. Oliver obtained and reviewed dental medical records and ensured a good rapport was built with all clients.
Oliver worked at a top-rated national law firm in the Clinical Negligence Department. Oliver assisted in a range of high value and complex matters from pre-action to conclusion including surgical errors, delayed / missed diagnosis, birth injury, brain injury and spinal injury. He also assisted in matters at inquest.
As a clinical negligence paralegal Oliver assisted in matters at inquest and guided the families through the process.
Oliver was an advocate at a leading national personal injury firm where he attended hearings ranging from infant approvals to application hearings, small claims trials, interlocutory and allocation hearings. Oliver regularly acted in road traffic accidents and occupiers liability cases.
